Back to school mini shoot

Are you looking for something a little different than the plain-ole-boring-back-to-school-photos, with a fake boring background and a fake smile?

Then sign up for my Back to School Mini Sessions!
Mini sessions will be conducted at a specific location and are 10-15 minutes in length.
For $25 you will get several poses of each child and files to print them however you like up to an 8 x 10!

How do I sign up?
Email me, Tricia, at bastianphotography@gmail.com.  Please indicate the number of children, ages and if they are a boy or girl.

When Will I receive my CD?
Please allow at least 1-2 weeks for editing.  Your CD will then be mailed to you to the address you provided on an information slip that will be filled out at the time of your mini session.

What to wear?
Select clothing that has color pop and are vibrant and fun!  Choose colors that are deep, rich and intense.  Use patterns, textures and layers to add visual interest.  Textured fabrics such as dark denim photography beautifully.  Layers can be added and removed to create different looks in minimal time.  Most importantly, I want everyone to be casual and comfortable in their attire.  Children photograph best when they feel GREAT in their outfits.

What to bring?
I will bring the props such as the desk, chair or stool to sit on.  The school desk works best for children ages 3-8, older children are best photographed in a more natural setting.

When to arrive?
ON TIME of course!  Please don't be late as this will put us behind schedule and your session time will be cut short.  Please plan to arrive a few minutes early.

Don't wait to sign up!  Spots are limited!

Logan Temple

During my trip last September we stopped in Logan to see the Logan Temple.  This temple is up on a hill and over looks Cache Valley.
This temple took 7 years to build.  It was built during the same time the
Salt Lake Temple was built.
To learn more about this temple click here.
This is my favorite picture of all.  The way the sun was hitting the top.  I loved it!  I so wish we could have spent more time there.

Salt Lake Temple

As part of my101 project, I wanted to take pictures of all the temples in Utah.  So to start off, here is the Salt Lake Temple.  It took 40 years to build this temple.  I think it is so beautiful!
If you are interested in learning more about temples click here.

If you are interested in purchasing any temple pictures that I have taken, contact me via email at bastianphotos@gmail.com
I would love to know what you think about these photos or how I could improve.  Leave a comment on my blog letting me know what you think.

Brice & Shauna Wedding

I was so excited to share this special day with Shauna and Brice. They are perfect for each other. They laugh, have fun and are so in love.
This was my first wedding and I admit I was really nervous. I didn't want to miss anything. I love how these few photos turned out.

Project 52 - Week 2

Week 2: Reflection

I have been picking Brad up from work all week and every day I saw this reflection of the tree, sun and mountains in his windows. I loved the way it looked so I finally remembered to take my camera with me and was able to capture it. I love how there is a little sun flare in the photo.

Project 52 - Week 1

On my 101 list, I have a goal of a 52 week project. To take a photo a week, post on the blog. Brad sets the themes for me for each week.
Here is the photo for week 1: Shadow

I saw this idea on pinterest and wanted to try it. I think it turned out very nicely.
