I didn't have my camera with me so I used Brad's point and shoot. I can tell a huge difference when you are able to control your setting as opposed to when you can't.
This is Tyler the night we got home from the hospital. He has a ph probe in his nose to check his reflux. The splints on his arms are just in case he wants to rub his nose and pull them out.

Our 1st day of snow, (September 21st). Who knew it snowed in the summertime.
I love that I was able to capture the snow falling to the ground.
Thanks Tyler for standing in the freezing cold for me to take your picture.
I sure do love this little boy. He is such a trooper in letting me continuously take his picture.

Day 45
While driving home from AZ, (it's a long trip), I discovered we had the manual to the camera in the car so I started reading. We learned how to get a very focused shot.
Put the camera on live view, zoom into your subject, manually focus and then take the picture in that mode. You know for sure your picture is in focus because you are so close to the subject.
This was our little experiment with Thomas the Train.

Day 39
On our way back from Arizona, we stopped at the Albuquerque Temple. It was perfect conditions for a picture.
Day 34
I need HELP! How do you fix a blown out sky. I have tried so many different techniques and I can't fix it. Will someone send me an email with a tutorial or just let me know how to do it? How do you expose for sky and subject? How do you get skin tones with this kind of lighting?

Day 20
I have been on vacation so I am really behind. And I admit, I have failed. I will not have 100 pictures in 100 days. While I was on vacation, I missed 2 days. I took lots of pictures, but missed 2 days. I will continue to post and have to make up for the 2 days by extending my goal to 102 days.
This is my handsome husband Brad, he was kind enough to pose a quick shot for me right before he left for work the day I left to go to Arizona.
I love you!
